Red Brick Tavern in Lafayette, Ohio. Located on the National Road (US 40), west of Columbus. The Tavern was built in1837. The Red Brick Tavern is a classic roadside inn and tavern from the heyday of the National Road. The first floor housed the dining room and kitchen with twelve rooms on the second floor for overnight travelers. Four rooms were on the private third floor. We were there during our National Road tour when we explored the Ohio portion of the National Road.
