Flat farmland is probably what comes to mind when you think of Ohio. But, it actually has varied landscapes that provide lots of opportunities to explore nature. While browsing our photo archive, I found some waterfall photos and decided to search for information on Ohio’s waterfalls. I was surprised to learn that Ohio has about 300 waterfalls. The largest falls in Ohio is Brandywine Falls in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (65 feet). We’ve visited the eight waterfalls in Hocking Hills and others around the state including Pleasant Hill and Lyons Falls at Mohican State Park. The trail has some hills and stairs and is a 2.3 mile loop. The photo of Cryss was taken at Cedar Falls In Hocking Hills.
